AVS codes

The Address Verification Service (AVS) is a fraud prevention tool that issuers automatically apply to payments to verify that the customer is genuine.
It performs an AVS check, which compares the billing address provided by the customer with the address on the payment card.
You receive the result of AVS checks as AVS codes. AVS codes describe whether there was a full or partial address match, or a mismatch.
You can receive the following AVS codes:
