Leadership team

As chief product officer, Meron oversees the company’s extensive product management, product operations and design functions worldwide—and brings deep crypto and fiat payments knowledge to Checkout.com. He joined the company in December 2021 based in the Bay Area, with plans to relocate to Europe in 2022.

Prior to Checkout.com, Colbeci was the head of consumer product management at Novi—Meta’s fintech product group—recently launching the Novi wallet as a pilot project. He also served as SVP product at SoFi and as senior director global consumer product management at Paypal for several years before that. Born and raised in Israel, Meron has a BSc in Computer Science and History from Tel Aviv University.

Meron Colbeci

In her role as CFO & COO of Checkout.com, Celine oversees the company’s financial, treasury and strategy functions. She joined in August 2021 and is based in the company’s New York office.

Prior to Checkout, Celine was the COO and CFO of Fortune 500 asset manager, T. Rowe Price for three years. Before that she was MD and global head of marketing, product management, and client services at Neuberger Berman--and was a partner at McKinsey & Company prior to that.

Celine was named to Barron’s 100 Most Influential Women in U.S. Finance in 2021, and to Fortune’s 40 under 40 in 2020. A native of France, Celine earned bachelor's and master's degrees in applied mathematics and economics from École Polytechnique in Paris, and a master's degree in finance from Princeton.

Céline Dufétel

As Checkout.com’s CTO, Ott leads the broadly skilled team of 600+ people responsible for the technology strategy that underpins the operation of the company’s global high-performance payments platform. This, in turn, directly supports Checkout's ability to serve its enterprise merchants around the world.

Prior to Checkout, Ott was the CTO at cloud powerhouse Twilio for seven years, where he led the company's engineering operations and technical architecture. Before that he was an early stage employee at Skype, where he launched SkypeOut and grew the business into a $1 billion product line. And prior to Skype, Ott was the GM of software development at Helmes. 

Ott grew up in Estonia, earned his MBA from INSEAD, and cycles thousands of kilometers a year.

Ott Kaukver

Fueled by the desire to enable businesses to create better payments experiences for their communities, Guillaume founded Checkout.com in 2012. Over the last decade, the company has delivered high-performance payments solutions to thousands of large enterprise merchants, and has grown to more than 1600 people in 19 countries—although he still describes it as being in ‘chapter zero’.

Growing up in Switzerland, Guillaume was fascinated by street art (seen in our offices), technology and numbers—and started programming at the age of eight. This mix of creativity and logic laid the foundation for his future career and ultimately for building the preferred payments partner for digital businesses around the world. In 2021, employee reviews put Guillaume on Glassdoor's list of top UK CEOs.

Guillaume studied at Ecole Polytechnique and HEC Lausanne. As a philanthropist, his current focus is on improving access and outcomes in education. He is also a keen startup investor and a mentor for the Endeavor network. When not traveling to one of Checkout.com’s offices, he lives in Dubai with his wife and three children.

Guillaume Pousaz

Leela joined Checkout.com as its first chief marketing officer in September 2021 and today oversees all marketing functions worldwide—including brand strategy, communications and public affairs, digital marketing, demand generation, and product marketing.

Leela joined from her almost four-year tenure as CMO of experience management platform leader Momentive (formerly SurveyMonkey), where she led marketing through the company’s IPO and corporate rebrand. Prior to that, she was CMO at hiring platform Lever, VP marketing at OpenTable, and director of marketing at LinkedIn. Leela serves on the board of Upwork, and holds an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and an M.A. in history and English literature from the University of Edinburgh in her native Scotland.

Leela Srinivasan

As the CHRO at Checkout.com, Kerry oversees the entire people and talent organization worldwide. She joins the company from healthtech provider Oscar Health, where she has served as Chief People Officer for the past four years--and scaled the company from 225 to 3000 people as it went public.

Kerry has deep experience attracting, placing, and growing people across the technology, financial, and healthcare industries. Prior to Oscar Health, she held leadership positions at Amazon, Bridgewater, Madrona Ventures and Microsoft. Based in New York, Kerry serves on the Board of Directors for South Bronx United, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s degree in History.

Kerry Van Voris

After spending more than two decades building commercial teams in high-growth technology companies, Nick joined Checkout.com as Chief Revenue Officer in January 2021—and today he leads a team of almost 300 people around the world, 

Prior to Checkout, Nick served as the Chief Sales Officer at WeWork, where he expanded the team from 80 sales & marketing professionals to over 1,500. Before WeWork, Nick was VP of B2B sales and marketing at Grubhub prior to its IPO in 2014. He also held executive roles at Bullhorn prior to the acquisition by Vista Equity Partners in 2012, and IntraLinks prior to IPO in 2010. Based in New York, Nick began his career as a management consultant at KPMG and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell.
