Account Name Inquiry (ANI) is a card verification service that works independently of the financial transaction.

You receive the result of ANI checks as ANI codes.

ANI checks are supported by Visa.

The following table outlines the ANI codes used by Checkout.com and their definitions.

ANI code	Description
`full_match`	Full name match
`partial_match`	Partial match on the full name
`not_performed`	ANI wasn't performed by the scheme.
`not_supported`	ANI not Supported by issuer
`no_match`	No match on the full name
