Quarterly Mastercard Report

The Quarterly Mastercard Report (QMR) contains operational metrics that you must send to Mastercard every quarter. It covers:
- The quarter date range, your Interbank Card Association (ICA) number, and the report currency
- The counts and volumes for cleared purchases and refunds/returns/credits (as a group), and their location in relation to the merchant
- How many accounts and cards you have, how many you created, suspended, and revoked during the quarter, and how many made at least one transaction
- The number of virtual prepaid cards you have, and their transaction count and volume
This report is only relevant if you're a processing-only client.
The report is provided as a CSV file. By default, the file name uses the following format:
{Start date:YYYYMMDD}-{End date:YYYYMMDD}-Card Issuing: Quarterly Mastercard Report (QMR)-{Entity name}.csv
The report data is refreshed twice daily at around 23:50:00 UTC and 10:50:00 UTC.

When you select a date range for this report, it aggregates the data per row to a single date for the specified quarter.

Within RegionandOutside Regioncolumns apply to Europe only – that is, SEPA or non-SEPA.- The values for all
Accountscolumns match theCardscolumns because cards have one account for Issuing.
The report includes all the following fields in this order:

Quarter string | The number and year of the current quarter. |
Transfer Agent ID string | Your Interbank Card Association (ICA) number from Mastercard to enable settlement. |
Entity ID string | The unique identifier for your Checkout.com entity. |
Client ID string | Your unique identifier from Checkout.com. |
Report Name string | The name of this report and the environment you downloaded it from. |
Currency string | The currency in which you provide this report. |
Purchase Domestic Interchange Count integer | The number of cleared purchases where the merchant is in the same country as you. |
Purchase International Count integer | The number of cleared purchases where the merchant is in a different country to you. |
Purchase International Within Region Count integer | The number of cleared purchases where the merchant is in a different country but same region as you. |
Purchase International Outside Region Count integer | The number of cleared purchases where the merchant is in a different country and region from you. |
Purchase Domestic Interchange Volume integer | The total monetary value of cleared purchases where the merchant is in the same country as you. |
Purchase International Volume integer | The total monetary value of cleared purchases where the merchant is in a different country from you. |
Purchase International Within Region Volume integer | The total monetary value of cleared purchases where the merchant is in a different country but same region as you. |
Purchase International Outside Region Volume integer | The total monetary value of cleared purchases where the merchant is in a different country and region from you. |
Refund Domestic Interchange Count integer | The total number of cleared refunds/returns/credits where the merchant is in the same country as you. |
Refund International Count integer | The total number of cleared refunds/returns/credits where the merchant is in a different country from you. |
Refund International Within Region Count integer | The total number of cleared refunds/returns/credits where the merchant is in a different country but same region as you. |
Refund International Outside Region Count integer | The total number of cleared refunds/returns/credits where the merchant is in a different country and region from you. |
Refund Domestic Interchange Volume integer | The total monetary value of cleared refunds/returns/credits where the merchant is in the same country as you. |
Refund International Volume integer | The total monetary value of cleared refunds/returns/credits where the merchant is in a different country from you. |
Refund International Within Region Volume integer | The total monetary value of cleared refunds/returns/credits where the merchant is in a different country but same region as you. |
Refund International Outside Region Volume integer | The total monetary value of cleared refunds/returns/credits where the merchant is in a different country and region from you. |
Accounts at Beginning of Quarter integer | The total number of active and suspended accounts you had on the last day of the previous quarter. |
Suspended Accounts at Beginning of Quarter integer | The number of suspended accounts you had on the last day of the previous quarter. |
Accounts Created During Quarter integer | The number of accounts you created during the current quarter. |
Accounts Terminated During Quarter integer | The number of accounts you revoked during the current quarter. |
Accounts at End of Quarter integer | The total number of active and suspended accounts you have on the last day of the current quarter. |
Accounts with at Least One Transaction integer | The total number of accounts that made at least one purchase or cash transaction during the current quarter. |
Suspended Accounts at End of Quarter integer | The number of suspended accounts you have on the last day of the current quarter. |
Cards at Beginning of Quarter integer | The total number of active and suspended cards you had on the last day of the previous quarter. |
Suspended Cards at Beginning of Quarter integer | The number of suspended cards you had on the last day of the previous quarter. |
Cards Created During Quarter integer | The number of cards you created during the current quarter. |
Cards at End of Quarter integer | The total number of active and suspended cards you have on the last day of the current quarter. |
Suspended Cards at End of Quarter integer | The number of suspended cards you have on the last day of the current quarter. |
Cards with at Least One Transaction integer | The total number of cards that made at least one purchase or cash transaction during the current quarter. |
Virtual Prepaid Cards Count integer | The number of virtual, non-reloadable prepaid cards without contactless functionality that you have. |
Virtual Prepaid Cards Transaction Count integer | The number of cleared transactions made with your virtual, non-reloadable prepaid cards without contactless functionality. |
Virtual Prepaid Cards Transaction Volume integer | The total monetary value of cleared transactions made with your virtual, non-reloadable prepaid cards without contactless functionality. |
