Third-party provider access

Checkout.com enables regulated third-party providers (TPPs) to access account information on behalf of consenting Checkout.com clients in the United Kingdom (UK) and European Economic Area (EEA). This access is provided in compliance with the European Union's second Payment Services Directive (PSD2).
To access Checkout.com's TPP interface, TPPs must hold one of the following valid certificates:
- EEA-regulated TPPs – eIDAS certificate
- UK-regulated TPPs – Open Banking (OBIE) certificate
Checkout.com has partnered with Tell.money to provide a secure, dedicated API for TPPs to retrieve the following data:
- Account details
- Balances
- Transaction history
To integrate, Tell.money provides the following:
- A dedicated TPP API built to Berlin Group standards
- A sandbox environment for testing
- Full API documentation
- TPP onboarding guidance
- Performance and availability reports
- Ongoing support
