We know that when you need processes to make account changes to be quick and simple. That’s why we’ve upgraded our Dashboard to let you manage key requests without having to raise a support ticket.
Whether requesting updates to bank account details, billing descriptors, or requesting new URLs for payment processing, you can now do it directly from the Dashboard at your convenience.
Note: This feature is only available to users registered as authorized or delegated signatories with the permission to view settlement bank account details. To add new signatories, contact your Account Manager or our Support team for help.
To update the bank settlement details we use to pay out your funds, follow the steps in this article.
The billing descriptor helps customers identify payments to your business with a brief description that appears on their statement. This helps your customers recognize transactions and reduces the likelihood of chargebacks.
Note: To use this feature, you’ll need to have the View and manage billing descriptors permission for your Dashboard user account.
To update billing descriptors, follow our documentation.
Website URLs are the websites on which you are accepting payments with Checkout.com.
Note: We’re currently rolling out this feature. If you don’t have it yet, it will be live on your account by March 11. We’ll email you on this date to confirm it’s live.
To use this feature, you’ll need to have the Administrator or Account Owner roles for your Dashboard user account.
To add new website URLs via the Dashboard, follow our documentation.
We’ll continue to roll out more self-service features throughout 2025. Look out for more updates in your inbox in the coming months.
