Real Time Account Updater Report

The Real Time Account Updater Report provides a comprehensive history of all card updates made by the Real-Time Account Updater service during the selected timeframe. It provides information about each event, including:

Details about the card that was updated
The type of update that occurred
The payment instrument IDs associated with the updated card
The payment ID, if the update was triggered by a transaction

The report is provided as a CSV file. By default, the file name uses the following format:

real_time_account_updater_{EntityID}_{Start Date: YYYYMMDD}_{End Date:YYYYMMDD}.csv

The client-level report data is refreshed daily at 08:00:00 UTC. You can generate the report on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

The report covers updates from the start of the first day of the reporting period at 00:00:00 UTC, to the end of the final day of the reporting period at 23:59:59 UTC.

The report includes the following fields in this order:

Field name Description

Field name	Description
Event ID string	The unique identifier for the card update. Example – `evt_78ic66ux4no71twu9du0l8e7jx`
Timestamp datetime	The date and time the card update occurred. Format – ISO 8601 Example – `2024-01-31T10:20:30.456`
Scheme string	The card scheme of the updated card. This can be one of: `mastercard` `visa`
Card update reason string	The reason the card was updated. This can be one of: `card_closed` `card_expiry_updated` `card_updated` `contact_cardholder`
Original card - BIN string	The original card's Bank Identification Number (BIN).
Original card - Expiry Month string	The original card's expiry month, in the format M.
Original card - Expiry Year string	The original card's expiry year, in the format YYYY.
Original card - Last 4 string	The last four digits of the original card number.
Replacement card - BIN string	The replacement card's Bank Identification Number (BIN). If the card update reason was `card_closed` or `contact_cardholder`, this field is empty.
Replacement card - Expiry Month string	The replacement card's expiry month, in the format M. If the card update reason was `card_closed` or `contact_cardholder`, this field does not return a value.
Replacement card - Expiry Year string	The replacement card's expiry year, in the format YYYY. If the card update reason was `card_closed` or `contact_cardholder`, this field does not return a value.
Replacement card - Last 4 string	The last four digits of the replacement card number. If the card update reason was `card_closed` or `contact_cardholder`, this field does not return a value.
Payment ID string	The unique identifier for the payment associated with the card update. Example – `pay_vgms549w8swfp8zvqr2v6qtwy3` Visa – Always returns a payment ID Mastercard – Only returns a payment ID if you use the Real-Time Account Updater service's Mastercard Update & Retry option
Source IDs string	The unique identifiers for the payment instruments the updated card is associated with. Example – `src_y5r7ig9p9klgkj1gbxvhkbur7v`
Account Updater Product string	The Real Time Account Updater option used to update the card. This can be one of: `store_update` `update_retry` `vau`
Is Real Time Account Updater string	Specifies if the card update was performed by the Real Time Account Updater, or a batch account updater.

Event ID

The date and time the card update occurred.
Format – ISO 8601

The card scheme of the updated card. This can be one of:

Card update reason

The reason the card was updated. This can be one of:

card_closed
card_expiry_updated
card_updated
contact_cardholder

Original card - BIN

The original card's Bank Identification Number (BIN).

Original card - Expiry Month

The original card's expiry month, in the format M.

Original card - Last 4

Replacement card - BIN

The replacement card's Bank Identification Number (BIN).

If the card update reason was card_closed or contact_cardholder, this field is empty.

Replacement card - Expiry Month

The replacement card's expiry month, in the format M.

If the card update reason was card_closed or contact_cardholder, this field does not return a value.

Replacement card - Expiry Year

The replacement card's expiry year, in the format YYYY.

If the card update reason was card_closed or contact_cardholder, this field does not return a value.

Replacement card - Last 4

The last four digits of the replacement card number.

If the card update reason was card_closed or contact_cardholder, this field does not return a value.

Payment ID

The unique identifier for the payment associated with the card update.
Example – pay_vgms549w8swfp8zvqr2v6qtwy3

Visa – Always returns a payment ID
Mastercard – Only returns a payment ID if you use the Real-Time Account Updater service's Mastercard Update & Retry option

Source IDs

The unique identifiers for the payment instruments the updated card is associated with.
