We recently introduced API endpoints based on your unique Client ID. Designed to give us granular control over traffic routing, adopting these endpoints will help your business benefit from enhanced performance, greater stability, and better resilience in the long term.
If you’d like to switch to using a unique base URL instead of api.checkout.com and api.sandbox.checkout.com, you can find this in the Dashboard under your Developer Overview page, or under Settings > Account Details:
Note: Your production and sandbox environments have different client_id values. If you are unsure of your client ID for either environment, contact your account manager or request support.
If you’d like to find out more about switching to unique endpoints, see our docs, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll be happy to help.
