Card Payouts for US and Singapore merchants

If you have entities based in the US or Singapore, they can now send funds to cardholders using our Card Payouts network. Move money efficiently to more people in more places with access to visible FX based on market-leading rate sources though our FX rates API.

Use balances to check your funding before making the payment to the customer. Checkout.com offers both direct funds disbursements and money transfer payouts for B2B, B2C and account-to-account use cases.

To be eligible to receive a payout, the issuing bank must have enabled Visa Direct or Mastercard Moneysend for the recipient card. You can check whether a card is eligible for Visa Direct or Mastercard Moneysend by retrieving the card's metadata.

The API response also informs you whether the issuing bank has enabled Fast Funds for the card. With Fast Funds, funds from payouts are made available to the recipient card within 30 minutes. If Fast Funds is not enabled, funds may take up to 48 hours to become available.

Note that for the US, Checkout.com currently supports sending card payouts to domestic recipients in the US only.

If you’re based in the US and Singapore and are interested in enabling Card Payouts for your business, speak to your Account Manager or raise a support request via our webform.
