# Store and manage credentials

Use the Vault to store credentials, including:

- Customer details – for example, their name, email address, or phone number
- Payment instruments, which represent a customer's payment card or bank account
- Network tokens, which represent the tokenized primary account number (PAN)

Once stored, you can:

- Reuse the stored credentials in future payments so your customers do not have to input their details every time they make a purchase.
- Forward the stored details to a third-party payment processor.
