# Fraud reported

This [Fraud Detection](https://www.checkout.com/docs/business-operations/prevent-fraud.md) event occurs when a payment is reported as fraudulent.

## Webhook response fields

| Field name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `processing_channel_id`<br>`string` | The unique identifier of the payment processing channel. |
| `reference`<br>`string` | A reference that was used to identify the payment, such as an order number. |
| `eci`<br>`string` | The final Electronic Commerce Indicator (ECI) security level used to authorize the payment. Applicable for 3D Secure and network token payments. |
| `is_3ds`<br>`boolean` | Indicates if the transaction is 3D Secure. |
| `payment`<br>`object` | Information about the payment. See the [Payment](#Payment) section for more details. |
| `fraud`<br>`object` | Information about the fraud details associated with this payment. See the [Fraud](#Fraud) section for more details. |

| `type`<br>`string` | The type of fraud. This is the [fraud code](https://www.checkout.com/docs/developer-resources/codes/fraud-codes.md) provided by Visa and Mastercard. |
