# Monitor payment performance

The _Payment lifecycle_ view in the Dashboard enables you to gain reliable and consistent insights into your payment performance, and quickly identify and solve performance issues.

Additionally, you can [manage performance notifications](https://www.checkout.com/docs/business-operations/monitor-payment-performance/manage-performance-notifications.md) to receive alerts when your payment performance changes.

You can view in-depth analytics for the following payment lifecycle stages:

- Authorization
- Acceptance

To view your payment lifecycle analytics:

1. Sign in to the [Dashboard](https://dashboard.checkout.com/).
2. Go to _Payments_ > _Analytics_ > _Payment lifecycle_.
3. Select a lifecycle stage to view related data.
